Townsend Village is a large neighborhood of single-family homes established in the mid-2000’s in Townsend, just a few miles south of Middletown on Rt. 71. It is comprised of Townsend Village & Townsend Village II. Townsend Village and the east side of Townsend Village II are both Handler Homes communities. Many of the homes on the west side of Townsend Village were built by JS Homes. There are nearly 600 single family home sites in the combined neighborhoods. They are connected to municipal park and a planned county park. The community is an easy drive to cultural events in the surrounding cities, legendary Delaware beaches, and just minutes away from nearby shopping, dining and entertainment in the Middletown area.
